Editorial standards
Readers should know who paid, what we checked, and how we fix a mistake. These rules apply to staff copy and to guest posts.
Independence
Digital Courses is an editorial publication, not a marketplace. We do not auction rankings. A provider cannot pay to appear in a hub list. When we mention a platform it is because the reader will meet it in the wild — Coursera, TAFE Digital, a bootcamp with a shopfront on George Street — not because someone bought a paragraph.
Sponsored and guest-post links
Paid placements, affiliates and guest-post URL trades are labelled on the page. The anchor itself carries rel="sponsored". That is a crawlable, honest signal, not a footnote after the fact. See write for us for how contributors must declare those links.
Sources
Prefer primary documents: Australian Consumer Law, Higher Education Support Act fact sheets, provider refund pages, job ads that name a credential. Anonymous colour is allowed for a student who would lose work if named; we still need a second source for any dollar figure.
Corrections
Email support@worldwidebacklinks.com or use the contact form. We correct the article, note the change at the foot when the error was material, and update the sitemap date. We do not silently swap a verdict after a provider complains.
Conflicts
Staff disclose if they have enrolled in, taught, or been paid by a program under review. Contributors do the same in the pitch. A free review login is acceptable; a free certificate we then “earned” is not a review, it is a gift.
Artificial intelligence
Tools may help with research notes and spelling. They do not file copy. Every article is written and edited by a named person on the about page. Fabricated quotes and invented Australian case studies are a firing offence.
Images
We host Creative Commons and public-domain photographs in this repository and credit them on the article and on the image credits page. We do not run unlicensed marketplace imagery.
